He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Biersteker and Esther Biersteker (Tiller); his wife Yvonne Luedtke; his siblings, Ralph (Carol), Robert, Esther "Tiny" Black (Barney), Joseph Jr. (Nancy), Lola Lindsmeyer (Joseph), Roland "Pete" (JoAnn), Ken (Lois), Bruce (Kathleen), Nancy Rothe (Jim), Gary and Nona; and his brother-in-law Jim Stangel.
He is survived by: his sons, Mitchell Biersteker and Gary Biersteker (Kathey Phillips); his granddaughters, Danielle Biersteker (Scott Patridge) and Stephanie Biersteker (Jack Verville); his great grandchild Cayden Biersteker-Cordova; his siblings, Roger Biersteker and Janet Stangel; Laurie Biersteker. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
