He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Bub" and Margaret; his brother Paul LeMere; and his in-laws, Rose and Charles Honold.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Honold; his children, Gail Swiechowski (Ed), Jeff LeMere (Nikki) and Mike LeMere (Stacey); his grandchildren, Daniel, Josh, Kirstin, Matt Flunker (Rachael), Laney and Nate; and his great grandchildren, Madysen, Axton, Remi and Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to Friends of Plum Island, Door County Maritime Museum or Egg Harbor Historical Society in Peter's name are appreciated.
