He was predeceased by: his parents, Okla Alexander and Grace Alexander (Lindeman); his daughter Amy (Schroeder); his granddaughter Ashley Schroeder; and his brothers, Gerald Heinritz, Jim Alexander and Dale Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Alexander (Monfort); his daughter Tami Zellner (Kevin); his son-in-law Brian Schroeder; his granddaughters, Megan Lehr (Jon), Nicole Bonin (Kyle) and Elizabeth Schroeder; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Adalynn Lehr, Easton and Turner Bonin.
Upon death Dick was able to donate his eyes.
