He is survived by: his daughter Alyssa; and his parents, Richard Sr. Lentz and Beverley Lentz. He is also survived by siblings and their spouses, and a small village of nieces and nephews.
As a father, he gave much of his time to humoring the whims of his daughter, Alyssa: countless trips to animal shelters, letting her sleep in the bathtub just for fun, morning yoga and afternoon cribbage while they spent the first months of COVID lockdown at home together, cooking Kwik Trip steaks for her two dogs.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Richard.
