He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern Berg and Rosalie Berg; and his sister Sue Van Haren. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Kolke; his children, Lisa Meissner, Teri Berg (Dan Haning) and Rob Berg; his grandchildren, Logan Meissner (Krista), Cole Meissner (Sara), Kendall Meissner, Noah Meissner and Sammy Berg; his siblings, Ronald Berg and Nancy "Kaye" Zadrazil (late Jim); his brother-in-law Clyde Van Haren; and his close friends, Bette, Joe, Les and Dino. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rock Garden Banquet Center (1951 Bond St, Green Bay, WI 54303). The military honors will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
