He was predeceased by: his father Ronald J. Murphy; his stepfather Bob Drzewiecki; and his parents-in-law, Norman and Julia Rappert. He is survived by: his mother Barbara K. Drzewiecki (DeVleeshower); his wife Barb Rappert; his children, Amanda Van Elzen (Jared), Bob Jr. Murphy (Brooke) and Kali Baumann (Eric); his grandchildren, Addie, Jacob, Grace, Audriana, Jared, Jackson, Evelyn and Cole; his siblings, Jim Murphy (Sharon), Mary Jo Dolata (Ed) and Debbie Murphy (Brian O'Shaughnessy); and his siblings-in-law, Mary, Bill Holewinski, Chris, Jim Baer, Nancy Bushey, Mike Rappert, Steve, Kym Rappert, Patti, Jerry Hull, Cheryl and John Zegers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
