He is survived by: his wife Bonnie VandenPlas; his siblings, Sue Anderson (Mark), Mary Luepke (Russ), Kay Mahloch and Don Whiting (Jodi); his siblings-in-law, Barb Schleis, Bob VandenPlas (Gayle), Patti VandenPlas, Dick VandenPlas (Janet) and Sheri VandenPlas (Linda Ascher); his niece Jennifer Peterson; his uncle Bob; and his aunt Bonnie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
