He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlyn "Mike" Richardson and Evelyn "Doris" Richardson; his brothers, John Richardson (Carmon) and Don Richardson; his siblings-in-law, Robin Loughran and Mike Westerman; and his pets, Harley and Booker.

He is survived by: his wife Patti; his children, Brent Richardson (Tina) and Amanda Richardson (Jeff DeGreef); his grandchildren, Brandon Johnson (Tanya), Brent Johnson (Kyra), Erin Palomaki (Joey), Steele Richardson (Hailey) and Cooper Richardson (Alexis); his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Josie, Emmett and Griffin; his grandchildren, Brodie Phillips (Denise), Sadie Moreaux and Stone Moreaux; and his pet Morgan. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

A memorial fund will be established in Ron's name.
