She was predeceased by: her parents, John Salscheider and Serena Salscheider (Steeno); her husband Jim; her son-in-law Dave Perleberg; her siblings, Mike, Pat Salscheider and Mary Meyer; and her siblings-in-law, John, Ed, Raymond Basteyns, Eva Maus and Margaret Thyrion.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Perleberg, Pattie Schmitt (Pat), Marty Basetyns (Cheryl) and Heather Framness (Brian); her grandchildren, Nick Perleberg, Kaetlyn Schmitt, Aaron Basteyns, Alex Basteyns, Abbie Basteyns (Anthony Ehnerd) and Jacob McKeever; and her sister-in-law Louise Salscheider. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Sally's name.
