She was predeceased by: her parents, Winston Nys and Emma Nys (Stroobants); her siblings, Fr Loren Nys, Dennis Nys, Dane Nys and Sharon; her brother-in-law Joe Bangert; her great-nephew Jake Pezon; and her pets, Ginger and Schatze.
She is survived by: her son Jody Meyer; her close friends, Sue Lax and Kayla; her grandson Liam; her sister-in-law Deb Nys; her nieces and nephews, Jeff Bangert, Drew Nys (Jenny), Kris Pezon (Gary) and Michelle Johnson (Dan); and her caregiver Sandy. She is also survived by nephews, a great-great niece and two great-great nephews, as well as many friends.
