He is survived by: his children, Cory Vanden Hoogen (Alicia), Nicole Ayer (Jory), Lorissa Yoder (Tyler) and Tyler Vanden Hoogen (Caitlin Egan); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Vanden Hoogen, Kanton Vanden Hoogen, Maxwell Ayer and Cillian Yoder; and his brother James Vanden Hoogen (Peg). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
