He was predeceased by: his father James Howard (Margaret); his brother Anthony Howard (Tony); his niece Christine Howard; his grandfathers, Walter Howard, Sr. (Sarah) and Frank Harris (Stella); and his father-in-law Anthony J. Ryan.
He is survived by: his mother Margaret Howard; his wife Colleen Howard; his children, Stephen Maurice Howard Jr. (Lacy) and Travinia Howard (Shanday); his grandchildren, Tarion Marques Howard-Batson, Qualin Kyrie Howard, Reuben Marcel Howard and Ja'Ryll Thomas Howard; his mother-in-law Darlene Ryan; his sisters, Jacquelyn Carter, Adrienne Anderson (Sylvandous) and Kelly Howard; his sisters-in-law, Angela Howard and Dawn Bedient (Jim); his brothers, James Howard (Julia) and Arthur Howard; and his aunts and uncles, Walter Howard, Jr., Frank Harris Jr., Gwendolyn Hines (James), Pauline Harris and Mary Ruth Brown. He is also survived by great-great nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
