He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton "Bud" Melotte and Marie Melotte (Pierquet); his former wife Judith Marie Melotte (Vander Loop); and his siblings, Richard, Buddy, Michael, Tommy, Darlene Radzinski, Maxine Bramer, Peggy Ann Melotte and Mary Kropp.
He is survived by: his fiancée Peggy Seim Nielsen; his daughters, Corinne Cervantes (Ermanno) and Lynn Van Roy (Dennis); his siblings, Katie Umentum (Jack), Suzie Kaster (Dennis), Judy Cisler (Bob) and Patrick (Sharon); his grandchildren, Owen, Livia, Giovanna and Ennio; and his great grandchild Jennifer Seim (Diego Victoria-Morales). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
