She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee Borders and Helen Borders (Halley). She is survived by : her husband John Nero; her children, Pam Lemerond (Jerry), John Nero (Lori), Rick Nero and David Nero; her grandchildren, Kelly Charapata (Nick), Ken Lemerond (Mycha), Zoe Nero and Cyd Pearlstein (Adam); her great grandchildren, Alexa Kurtzbach (Zach), James Charapata, Zackary Lemerond, Kira Freese and Ezekiel Freese; and her great great grandchildren, Rylee and Scarlett.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (200 S Ashland Ave, Green Bay, WI 54303). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
