He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Porter and Mary Porter (Slattery); and his siblings, Terry Porter, Stephen Porter and Phyllis Porter.
He is survived by: his brother Leo Porter; and his nieces and nephews, Sam Porter, Matthew Porter, Tim Porter, Tammy, Lea Bousanault, Nathan Porter, Philip Porter, Casey Johnson and Ryan Porter. He is also survived by many grandnieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
