He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yungwirth and Veronica Yungwirth (Mayer); and his siblings, Robert Yungwirth (John), Anne Yungwirth (Lois), Al Weber (Jerome), Joan Yungwirth (Gregory), Veronica Yungwirth (Anita), Delbert "Tony" Thompson (Beatrice), Phil Pilkenton (Virginia) and Harold Bond (Janet Switlik).

He is survived by: his wife Agnes Yungwirth; his son Jay; his daughter-in-law Christine Yungwirth; his grandchildren, Amy Yungwirth, Steven Yungwirth (Ally), Sara Yungwirth (Jenna Wagner), Mariah Lamal (Nathan), Kayley Sjoholm and Skyler Sjoholm (Lauren Brukardt); his great grandchildren, Emilia, Henry, Beau and William; and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Switlik, Norma Pagel and Gladys Van Lannen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
