He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Peterson and Rosella Peterson (Lannoye); his wife Sarah A. Peters; and his son Wayne, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Craig Peterson (Debbie), Vern Peterson (Wendy), Eric Peterson (Chris) and Amy Loch (Chad Peters); his daughter-in-law Debbie Christiano; his grandchildren, Caleb Peterson (Trisha), Nicole Holtermann (Josh), Lesley Peterson, Craig Peterson Jr. (Sara), Tiffany Wescott (Adam), Zachary Peterson (Kristen), Jesse Allen, Katie Prucha (Jake), Lindsay Burhop (Jeremy), Colton Peterson (Ashley Mikles), Logan Peterson (Carleigh Wenzel), Jessica Larson (Mark), Tom Gannon, Alyxandria Schmidt (Hunter), Miranda Peterson, Austin Loch and Owen Loch; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Cushman (Robert). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Wayne's name.
