He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wilton and Margaret Mckenzie Storrie Cox; and his wife Julia Colleen Cox. He is survived by: his children, William John Cox (Patti) and Alexis Ann Cox; his grandchildren, Tricia Lynn Rector (Eric), Jonathan Storrie Cox (Katie), Lexa Colleen Miller and Cassondra Jordanne Miller; his great grandchildren, Justin Wade, Luke William Rector, Cohen Alexander, Collins Mary Cox, Aleigah Ann and Levi Allan Buening; and his siblings, Douglas (Sherill) and Margaret Jean Evans.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Mount Horeb Evangelical Lutheran Church (315 E Main St, Mt Horeb, WI 53572). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mount Horeb Union Cemetery.
