She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald J. Nowak; her parents, Frank Pogozelski and Anna Pogozelski; and her sisters, Adeline Fager Osborn, Evelyn Graikoski and Beatrice Lorum.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Dressler (Michael) and Lynn Zdanczewicz (Timothy); and her grandchildren, Debra Clark (Curt), Heidi Dressler, Kristin and Erin Zdanczewicz (Nate Schweitzer).
