He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Mary; his in-laws, Carl J. and Helen T. Kempinski; and his siblings, John, Fritz, Mike, George, Loretta and Molly.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce R.; and his sister Joanne Bogan. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbors and friends.
