He was predeceased by : his parents, Melvin Wiegert and Bertha Wiegert (Beach); his siblings-in-law, Hal Kempen (Diana) and Jerry Kempen; his siblings, Paul Wiegert and Bertha Wiegert; his parents-in-law, Peter and Johanna Marie Kempen; his stepmother-in-law Mary Kempen; his siblings-in-law, Jay Woodcock, Marvin, Ceil Kempen, Boniface, Ann Kempen, Lorna, Bill Van Handel, Roger Bruecker, Geri Kempen and Richard Kempen; and his son-in-law Gary Delzer.
He is survived by : his wife Laverne Kempen; his children, Sue Baker (Mike) of Roswell, NM, Tony DePere (Ellen Trimberger), Shari Delzer (Tom Falk), Howard, Lynn Brunner (Tom), Ken (Geri Van Schyndel), Dave Jr. (Sara Biese) and Hollandtown; his grandchildren, Kristen Baker (David), Stephanie Baker (Michael Caughlin), Jessica Burkett (Nick), Kyle Wiegert, Zack Winans (Cami), Quinn Winans, Laura Brunner Wausau (Jackson Beck), Allison Brunner, Taylor Wiegert, Alex Larson (Charlie), Nick Wiegert (Kayla Grimes), Bryce Wiegert (Megan Brochtrup) and Shane Wiegert (Maggie); his great grandchildren, Isaac and Victoria Larson; his siblings, Myrtle Woodcock, William Wiegert (Jan), John Wiegert (Marilyn) and Charles Wiegert (Lois); and his sisters-in-law, Lou Wiegert (Leick), Arlene Bruecker, Janice Nettekoven (Erv) and Sue Datta (Paul).
