In loving memory of Elaine Elsie Schmidt (Greenleaf, Wisconsin), who departed this world on October 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Elaine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Natzke and Loraine Natzke (Kiekhaefer); her husband Wayne; her son-in-law Rick Rascher; her parents-in-law, Harris Schmidt (Carolyn), Erma Conrad (Pete), Dorothy Natzke, Flo Natzke and Karen Montanye; and her brother-in-law Ralph Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Schmidt-Barlow, Lisa Rock (Pat), Clynt, LuAnn O'Connor (Barry) and Lori Fetters (Kevin) of Buckley, Illinois; her siblings, Royal, Roger (Karen), Bob, Bill (Connie), Dave (Nila), Dan (Barb) and Eileen Bordeleau (Leo); and her in-laws, Ruth Schmidt, Keith Montanye, Gene Schmidt (Jean) and Lee Schmidt (Sharon Puttmann). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church - Wayside (8378 County W, Greenleaf, WI 54126). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (8378 County W, Greenleaf, WI 54126). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery (8378 County W, Greenleaf, WI 54126).
