We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2020 we had to say goodbye to John F. Schmitt of Greenleaf, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Shirley J. Schmitt; his parents, Frank Schmitt and Catherine Schmitt (Kettenhofen); his son J. David Schmitt; and his sisters, Marie Creviere and Margaret Schmitt.

He is survived by : his children, Carolyn Nackers (Steve), Little Chute and Kathy Luther (Dick); and his daughter-in-law Susan Cohen (Michael). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Due to the current restrictions regarding Covid-19, wearing masks is required, please bring a mask to wear.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army are appreciated.

“I was saddened to hear of John's passing. He was a very nice man. He always said Hi to me and gave me apples and honey sooo many times over the years. I have many pleasant memories of him and the Schmitt family. I remember pigeons in the back yard and his coming to Appleton to send them back. May he rest in peace Mary Peerenboom and Paul Rand”
