He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Gassner and Eileen Gassner (Seubert); his wife Chris Hawley; his sisters, Joan Igl and Diane Geurts; and his sister-in-law Betty Ashman.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Hagen (Ryan) of Onalaska, WI; his grandchildren, Drew and Cole; his daughter Katie Shimon (Jon) of Appleton; his granddaughters, Willow, Vanessa and Natalie; his siblings, Sue Ansorge (Al), Jo Bockin (Randy), Kay Guyant, Tim Gassner (Joanne) and Ken Gassner (Charlotte); and his brothers-in-law, Bill Igl, Ken Geurts and John Ashman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
