He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvel A. Shain and Margie J. Shain (Cherry); his grandson Logan Kurtenbach; and his siblings, Harriet Keller and Lyle Sparks.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Doug Alexander (Vicki) of Waxahachie, TX and Cindy Kurtenbach (Mike) of Chippewa Falls, WI; his grandchildren, Madison Alexander, Meghan Stanford, Spencer, Tyler and Carly Kurtenbach; and his sisters, Becky Shain Henn of Kenosha, WI and Barb Shain of Chili, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Mark's family asks that donation be given to cancer research in his name or to the Arbor Day Foundation.
