He was predeceased by : his parents, Christian J. Jacobs and Barbara M. Jacobs Sr. (Nimm); his wife Mary; his father-in-law Emil Przekurat; his siblings, Pauline Krause, Christine Pongratz, Marlene Feit and Chris Jacobs Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Brookhart and Richard Pongratz Sr..

He is survived by : his children, Richard Jacobs Jr. (Brenda) of Willard, Tracy Jacobs (Kelli) of Arpin, Henry Jacobs of Greenwood, Dale Jacobs (Tammy) of Willard, Therese Luchterhand (Tim) of Granton, Lucas Jacobs (Kyrah) of Greenwood, Jesse Jacobs of Arpin and Jeanne Jacobs (Doug Becker) of Granton; his grandson Brett Jacobs (Cheyanne Mondloch) of Spencer; his great grandchild Ashton; his grandchildren, Erika Jacobs of Arpin, Koltin, Taelor, Sophia Luchterhand of Granton, Dustin, Desirah, Lane Jacobs of Willard, Anton, Alida, Atli Jacobs of Greenwood and Jolene Etlicher of Granton; his sisters, Arlene Brookhart, Kathleen Feit (David Sr.) and Irene Bukovec (Glenn); his mother-in-law Carrie Przekurat; and his siblings-in-law, Randy (Tammy Przekurat), Gary Przekurat (Jean), Robby Przekurat and Susie Epstein. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
