He was predeceased by: his parents, Aage A. Nielsen and Lilian C. Nielsen (Endres); his brother Roger Nielsen; his sister-in-law Alice Nielsen; his parents-in-law, Dan and Alice Olson; and his brother-in-law Jerry Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Diane E. Olson of Greenwood; his children, Andrew (Missy) of Greenwood, Dana Johnson (Pat Meyer) of Loyal, WI and Ryan of Ladysmith, WI; his grandchildren, Derek Nielsen, Dylan Nielsen, Zachary Johnson (Leah), Laikyn Johnson (Luke Ossmann) and Kody Johnson; and his sister Sharon Bushman (Edward) of Hayward, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
