He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Buettner and Selma Buettner (Hildebrandt); his son Michael; his brothers, Robert, Kurt and Gary; and his in-laws, Rolly and Barbara Brunner.
He is survived by: his son David (Nina) of Breckenridge, Colorado; his granddaughters, Samantha Bishop (Ben) of Denton and Ren Bittner of Golden, Colorado; his great grandchildren, Elijah Bishop and Esias Bishop; his stepgreat-grandson Evan Bishop; his wife Sandra Brunner; and his sister Valerie Willard (Dan).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
