He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Nancy; his wife Marjorie Burke; his children, Danny Burke and Connie Hooser (Burke); and his children-in-law, Keith Dunavant, Peter Beine and Melody Burke.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Stephan (Richard), John Burke (Patty), Susan Celmer (Jim), Jim Burke, Barb Dunavant, Ed Burke (Carrie), Laura Beine and Nels Burke (Mike Hanson); and his son-in-law Don Hooser. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
