He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Balzer and Jodi Voelkel (Mike); his grandchildren, Daniel (Kacie), Shaun, Kayla (Nick), Stephanie (Jacob), Danny and Mikey (Michaela); and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Letty, Mika, Beau, Lando, Colt and Stirling. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gene's name are appreciated to St. Jude's and Children's Hospital.
