He was predeceased by : his siblings, Florence Stabenow, Rosemary Doehling, Frida Reichow, Robert Heinbuch, Caroline Doehling, Pearl Trapp, Margreth Welch, Harold Heinbuch and Louise Holtz; and his parents-in-law, Leonard and Marie Ickler.

He is survived by : his wife Delores Ickler; his children, Steven Heinbuch (Renee), Deborah Volkert (William) and Scott Heinbuch (Sandy Brecht); his grandchildren, Andrew Heinbuch (Holly), Karl Heinbuch (Amy), Victoria Mukasa, William Volkert, Daniel Volkert, Jason Heinbuch (Hannah), Megan Miller (Derek) and Jenna Myer; his sister Gertrude Steinbruckner; his siblings-in-law, Robert Ickler (Barb), Carol Cernohous (Paul) and Alice Heinbuch; his friend Al Lenz (Kelly); and his pet Buster. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
