He was predeceased by : his father Donald Ward; his parents-in-law, John and Pat Remmers; and his grandparents, Bob and June Catura.

He is survived by : his mother Lynn Ward (Catura); his wife Darci (Remmers); his children, Paige Ward, Shane Ward (Jayla Durand) and Nate Ward (Hunter); his grandchildren, Violyt, Lila, Donny and Dallas Ward; his siblings, Shawn Ward and Kristen Ward (Jevon Jackson); his nieces and nephews, Jayda and Jevon Jr.; his aunt Nancy Stinnett (Gary); and his uncle Joel Becker (Rosanne).
