He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Winnie and Leona Winnie (Pinkowsky); his sister Judith Richards (Vincent); his siblings-in-law, Vincent Richards and Mary Winnie; and his sibling's children, Suzette Winnie and Rex Winnie.

He is survived by: his siblings, Arvilla Bender (Richard) and Duane Winnie (Mary).
