She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Whitford and June Whitford; her siblings, Ann Louise Williams (Danny) and David Whitford; and her former husband Jerry Gruber.

She is survived by: her brother Ken Whitford (Beth Amber) of Rockford, IL; her children, Kurt Gruber of Conifer, CO and Linda Kaehler (Tim) of Milwaukee; her sister Beth Wettstein (Whitford) of Hartford; her brother-in-law Danny Williams of Seattle; her granddaughters, Valerie Simmons of Milwaukee, Veronica Kaehler of Milwaukee and Kasandra Jauregui (Pete) of Waukesha; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Isaiah, Zaylah, Jayla, James, Kaden, Damien, Mila and Larry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St, Hartford, WI 53027). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
