He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Rufener and Gladys Rufener. He is survived by: his wife Loreena; his children, James Rufener (Tammy) and Jeni Elder (James); his grandchildren, Wyatt Rufener (Lexi), Quinn Rufener, Bryce Rufener and Wynter Liesener (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Wyllow Liesener and Ryver Liesener; and his siblings, Donna Carroll (Dennis) and Bob Rufener (Jane).
