We bid farewell to Mark Thomas Schaefer of Hartford, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2026 at the age of 70. Mark touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schaefer and Donna Schaefer; his brother John Schaefer; and his nephew David Lechner. He is survived by: his wife Dora Schaefer; his daughter Carly Bogdan (Dan); his granddaughter Brynn Bogdan; his sisters, Kathy Lechner (Joe) and Patsy Schaefer; and his uncle Bobby Roecker (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives & extended family.
