Patrick Wendt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2025, at the age of 67, Patrick Wendt (Hartford, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Wendt and Renee Wendt of Catherine's High School; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Barbara Moritz; his brothers-in-law, Greg Griswold and Scott Meyer; and his daughter-in-law Maddie Kiesling.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Moritz; his children, Melissa and Joseph Wendt (Victoria); his grandchildren, Soren and Felix Wendt; his siblings, Mike Wendt (Becky), Chris Griswold and Cindy Wendt; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Moritz, Ed Mangold, Agnes Dietenberger (Eric), Theresa Meyer and Laura Moritz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 W State St, Hartford, WI 53027). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the St. Kilian's Cemetery.
Donation staff. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pat's name can be made to St. Kilian's Church, the Hartford City Band, Inc., ALS Association or the Soo Line Historical & Technical Society.
