Paul D. Scherer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul D. Scherer of Hartford, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Scherer and Frances Scherer; his wife Cara Latz; his sister Sandra Scherer; his parents-in-law, John and Patricia Latz; and his siblings-in-law, John Latz (Jack), Kenneth Latz, Robin Probst and Laurie Latz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Otte (Brad) of Lowell and Paula Schmitz (Andrew) of Slinger; and his grandson James Otte. He is also survived by numerous loving family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St, Hartford, WI 53027).
