He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hechimovich and Rose Hechimovich; his former wife Mary Ann Steger; and his siblings, George, Frank, Dan (Boone), John, Mike, Robert (Bobbie) and Frances Laufenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Doerfert; his siblings, Nick Hechimovich, Mary Siegfried (Wayne) and Aggie Walters (Salty); his siblings-in-law, Diane Hechimovich and Eugene Laufenberg; his daughters, Lisa Pagura (Frank) and Joy Donohoe (Chris); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alex, Tommy, Molly and Ian; his stepchildren, Todd Doerfert (Laura) and Jennifer Rohloff (Shane); and his stepgranddaughters, Alyssa Becker (Josh), Stephanie Kaye (Aldon) and Emily Rohloff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 W State St, Hartford, WI 53027). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
