William left this world on November 13, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Montag and Bertha Montag; his son Mark; his parents-in-law, Ed and Rita Schmitz; his siblings, Pat Dueno (Rollie), Rita Theisen (Dave), Kathy Persha (Emil), Tony (Emmy) and Hubie; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Sage, Jerry Les Monde, Marilyn Montag, Jim Campbell, Jerry Richardson, John Zommers and Joan Marks (Ken).

He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Bill Montag (Sandy) of Quakertown, PA, Patrick Montag (Toan To) of Powell, OH, Jamie D'Amico (Mike) of Kewaskum, WI and Tami Montag-Smit (Brandon Smit) of Bedford, MA; his grandchildren, Billy Montag, Rylie, Kaylynn, Logan D'Amico, Magnus and Skylar Montag-Smit; his siblings, Marion Sage, Marge Les Monde, Tom, Ray (Kathy), Fritz (Mary), Lucy Campbell, Joanie Richardson, Chris Zommers and Suzy Knutson (Dan); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Montag, Kris Philippi (Jeff), Steve Schmitz, Char Rosandich (Bob) and Randy Schmitz (Roni). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
