He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Denise Adler (Gehrke); his children, Ethan (Olivia), Faith Victoria, Isabella (William Brazgel) and Lacey; his parents, Laurel Buchanan (Chester) and Frederick Adler; his siblings, Clint Adler (Kirsten) and Katie Menzel (Dan); his parents-in-law, Dennis and Dorothy Gehrke; and his brothers-in-law, Dan (Kristin) and Darin Gehrke (Emily). He was also cherished by 15 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church (N48W31385 Hill Road, Hartland, WI 53029). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
