Elizabeth Jane Hanson Dillon Obituary
Elizabeth "Betsy" Jane Hanson Dillon passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the age of 70. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her parents, Ken and Florence Hanson; and many other cherished relatives and friends. Their reunion in heaven will be glorious.
Betsy is survived by her brother, Robin (Charlotte) Hanson; her sister Janie (Bill) Herte; nieces, nephews, cousins and treasured friends.
Betsy loved her hometown, Wauwatosa and had deep roots in North Lake. As a self-proclaimed waterbug, Betsy shared her joy with everyone who visited her "at the lake". Betsy loved music. Through the years, she performed in vocal, recorder and bell choirs and in theater groups. Closest to her heart were "The Mads", the friends she made in the UW Waukesha Madrigal Choir were truly lifelong. Betsy was a keeper of memory, history and friends.
