He was predeceased by: his parents, Stevenson Spodney Jr. (Bud) and Carol Spodney (Wesley); and his brother Steven Spodney. He is survived by: his siblings, Laura Sylvester (Tom), Matt Spodney and Neil Spodney; his nieces and nephews, Peyton Spodney, Austin Spodney and Samantha Spodney; his aunt Helen Cookingham; and his uncle Dean Wesley. He is also survived by many cousins and good friends.
