He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifford Cullen and Bessie Cullen; and his sisters, Kathleen and Patricia. He is survived by : his wife Carol; his children, Allison McIntyre (Andy), Melissa Patterson (Scott), Mark Cullen (Kendra) and Todd Cullen (Ashley); his grandsons, Nolan, Carson and Tristan McIntyre; and his children, Cullen Patterson, Benjamin, Maxwell and Madeline Cullen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name may be made to St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church or St. Teresa of Calcutta St. Vincent de Paul Society.
