He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive Barnish and Milton "Joe" Barnish; and his siblings, Coral Barnish-Madsen and Merton Barnish. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, David Barnish (Jennifer), Daniel Barnish (Holly) and Diane Fleischmann (Eric); and his grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, Charles, Kyle, Jacob, Colin and Zachary.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (N50W35181 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
