It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen M. Compton (Hartland, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurena Mae and Donald Erwin Stone of Mayville, WI; and her siblings, Cindy Stone and Gary Stone. She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Compton (Bob); her children, Robert J. Compton, Jr. of Belleville, WI and Laura M. Groonwald of Hartland; her grandsons, Nathaniel C. Groonwald of Chicago, IL and Jackson R. Groonwald (Whitney Johnson) of Minneapolis, MN; her sister Gail Streich (John) of Helena, MT; and her siblings-in-law, LaVonne Williams, Linda Erickson (Scott), Ava Voltner (Ralph), Howard Louden (Lana) and Tim Louden (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
