He is survived by: his wife Barbara Legare; his children, Thomas Legare (Helen Donnelly), Brian Legare (Kathleen) and Janet Legare (Vivek Balasubramaniam); his stepsons, Andrew Sternitzky (Nicole) and Jason Sternitzky; his grandchildren, Seth Legare (Maria), Justin Legare (Marie), Kevin Legare, Noah Legare, Sam Sternitzky, Adam Legare, Max Balasubramaniam, Anna Sternitzky and Gus Balasubramaniam; and his great grandchildren, Lazarus Legare, Irene Legare and Jaime Pelska.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home (170 Warren Ave, Hartland, WI 53029). The military honors will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home at 170 Warren Avenue in Hartland on Sunday, October 19th from Noon to 2:00 p.m., which will include Military Honors at 1:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or donations be made to any charity in his memory. Larry's last wish was to donate his body to the University of Wisconsin Medical School.
