She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stern and Pearl Stern. She is survived by: her husband Gib; her children, Linda Herrick (Joe), Debbie Schlafer, Brian Pitsch (Susie), Sandy Pitsch, Gerald Schramm, Gilbert "Gib" Krapfl and David Schramm; her son-in-law Art Schlafer; and her granddaughter Danielle Ebert. She is also survived by stepchildren and their families; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St, Hartford, WI 53027). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lucy's honor are appreciated to Operation Homeless Veteran, with checks made in care of Hartland American Legion Post 294 (231 Goodwin Avenue, Hartland, WI 53029), or to St. Paul's United Church of Christ (495 St. Augustine Road, Colgate, WI 53017).
