He was predeceased by: his parents, Boniface Wanta and Blanche Wanta; his siblings, Steve, Gerald, Dolores Wanta and Mary Lohrman; and his brother-in-law Jim Bertling.
He is survived by: his wife Laura "Punkin"; and his sister-in-law Sharon Bertling. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, many other family members and friends.
