With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barney J. Flees of Hatley, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Flees and Marcella Flees (Bronk); and his brothers, Felix Flees (Mary Lou) and Eddy Flees (Lucy). He is survived by: his wife Karen Flees; his stepsons, Dwayne Pierson (Barb) and Randy Pierson; his grandchildren, Brad Pierson (Jennifer) and Kayla Pierson; his great grandchildren, Emma and Aiden Pierson; his siblings, Mary Xavier, Wally Flees (Lynn) and Daniel Flees (Helena); and also, Lolly Brzezinski, Edwina Stoltz, Gail Buchkowski and Mike Gorski (Marlene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Florian Catholic Church (500 Church Ln, Hatley, WI 54440). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
